The What and Why
The mission of GSB is simple…Networking!
Although this seems simple, we feel the recruiting process is an extremely complicated experience for most athletes and their families. The ability portion (or talent) is only one piece of a much bigger picture. Athletes must meet academic criteria directly dependent on the individual recruiting institution. Each Team has its own needs based on position, amount of remaining scholarships, etc. And finally, the finance needed to attend each school varies significantly.
GSBSports (parent company) has been around since 1998 serving thousands of Professional and College Athletes globally.
Employment
As we are always looking to better our Team, our company is looking to fill the following positions:
- Guest Relations Director
- Marketing and Sales Director
- Director of Softball
- Affiliate Director
- Media Advisor
As with most companies, salary will commensurate with experience.
As our parent company has been in business since 1998, we are always able to assist those individuals looking for Coaching Positions, Playing Positions and Front Office positions both domestically and internationally.
Our brand is YOU…not us. We understand that when your child dreams…you as a parent dream. We want to help provide the tools where your child can succeed. While many are trying to sell you on gimmicks and give away prizes….we focus on the process. This process is the same process used by every college and professional athlete….hard work!
Internship Program
The Showcase Series is owned and operated by GSBSports.com. Since 1998, GSB has worked with aspiring Sports Professionals in getting real world experience while obtaining course credit as well as compensation. Many of our past interns have gone on to work with Collegiate and Professional Teams, Sports Agencies, Theme Parks, Hotels and in other respected fields.
For more than 20 years, our company has been providing paid opportunities to Interns as a means to get their feet in the door. Many of our Interns have gone on to have very successful careers in their specific careers. We focus on the following areas for internships:
- Hospitality
- Recreation
- Sports Management
- Accounting
- Broadcasting
All of our internships are paid and generally take place in the summer session. Most major Universities have programs of which course credit can be achieved as well as compensation.
